This course is an introduction to advertising through the use of design and communications, working with teams and real-world industry applications of strategic development. Students create and execute concepts and messaging in various media.
Commercial:  Students receive a creative brief with a product, director or brand, and concept and develop a unique strategy and storyboard to create a TV or digital media advertisement at :30. They film and assemble the footage in PremierPro or other.

Get Out The Vote Print Campaign: Through a prompt, students develop the concept, strategy and content for a product or social cause. The ideas are translated into a campaign of three print ads presented in magazine size. Development through research and visual iterations.
